Read-only users: Pricing

Updated over a year ago

Starting January 20, 2025, the following changes will be effective, for Read-Only (R/O) licenses.

This update aligns with our goal of offering scalable and flexible licensing solutions for teams of all sizes.

1. What are Read-Only licenses?

Read-Only licenses allow users to view content within Qase without any editing privileges. These licenses are designed for collaborators who don’t need full access, helping teams scale cost-effectively.

2. Who is affected by this change?

  • Existing customers (those who subscribed before January 20, 2025): Read-Only licenses will remain free and unlimited as long as the workspace stay on its current plan or upgrade to a higher one.

  • New customers (those subscribing on or after January 20, 2025): Read-Only licenses will be billed according to the new pricing structure (see below).

3. Pricing for Read-Only licenses:

Plan

Monthly Billing

Annual Billing

Startup

$5 per RO user/month

$4 per RO user/month

Business

$3 per RO user/month

$2 per RO user/month

(RO = Read only)

5. How does Billing work for RO Users?

Read-Only license charges will follow the same billing cycle (monthly or annual) as the main subscription.
